1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of massage therapy services by Golden Hands Massage (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the client”, “you”). By making an appointment, attending a treatment, or receiving services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
Golden Hands Massage offers a range of professional massage therapies for relaxation, wellbeing, and therapeutic purposes. All treatments are provided by trained practitioners and are non-medical in nature.
Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or advice. Clients with medical conditions should consult their GP or healthcare professional before booking.
3. Eligibility & Client Responsibility
By booking a treatment, you confirm that:
· You are aged 18 years or over, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
· You will disclose all relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications prior to treatment
· The information you provide is accurate and complete
Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in treatment being refused or modified without refund.
4. Bookings & Appointments
· Appointments are currently booked by telephone and will shortly be available via email and/or an online booking system
· Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you
· Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time, with the full fee still payable
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a treatment if we believe it is unsafe or inappropriate.
5. Cancellation & Rebooking Policy
We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation and rebooking policy.
· Cancellations or rebookings must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment
· Failure to provide sufficient notice will incur a £25 cancellation charge
· This charge will be added to your next appointment
Non-attendance without notice will be treated as a late cancellation.
Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in refusal of future bookings.
6. Fees & Payments
· Prices are as advertised or confirmed at the time of booking
· Payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
· Any outstanding charges (including cancellation fees) must be settled before or at your next appointment
All fees are payable in pounds sterling (£).
7. Conduct & Professional Boundaries
Golden Hands Massage operates a strictly professional, therapeutic environment.
· Any inappropriate behaviour, comments, or requests will result in immediate termination of the session
· Full payment will remain due
· We reserve the right to refuse future bookings and, where necessary, report behaviour to relevant authorities
8. Health, Safety & Hygiene
We maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with industry best practice.
Clients are expected to:
· Attend appointments in a clean and hygienic condition
· Inform us of any contagious conditions prior to arrival
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if hygiene or health concerns pose a risk.
9. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
· Golden Hands Massage shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from treatments where the client has failed to disclose relevant medical information
· We are not responsible for personal belongings brought onto the premises
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy.
· Personal information is collected solely for booking, treatment, and record-keeping purposes
· Information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws
· We do not share your data with third parties without consent, unless legally required
